The U17 Boys CSL Celtics Soccer Team would like to send out a note of thanks to the Woodbridge Strikers "B" team for supporting their campaign of Pink on the Pitch to take place at Delki Dozzi field this coming June 11th at 1:00. The visiting Strikers were the winners on the pitch this past Saturday however, due to their generous donation, the Celtics felt the game was a "win win" situation for all. The Strikers are featured wearing their newly acquired warm up pinks. As a side note, the Celtics went on to win their second match of the weekend against the Woodbridge "C" team. A "Pink on the Pitch" soccer match will take place on Saturday June 11, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the Delki Dozzi Soccer Field during one of the squad's regulation games scheduled against the Toronto SC. A second game event is scheduled for August 23, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. at James Jerome Turf as an exhibition game agains the Laurentian Lady Vee. The opposing clubs have expressed their support of this event as well; and have indicated their willingness to join in the cause. During these two soccer matches, "Crush Cancer" t-shirts such as the ones being worn by the coaching staff, will be available for purchase at a cost of $10.00, proceeds of which will be donated to Breast Cancer.
