Unfortunately it does seem like it will be possible to have indoor turf this year. The back up location we believed was secured has fallen through. The owner believes he has a long term tenant willing to sign a 5 or 10 year lease thus leaving us out in the cold. This took place over the weekend

As one of the conditions of renting to us was going to be us vacating with 45 days notice if he found a permanent tenant, the building owner feels there is no sense in allowing us to start as he feels this tenant will pan out for him within the next few weeks and he wants to give them immediate availability if that is the case.

Sorry for the bad news. We have tried numerous different locations around the city with no luck. It appears as though there will be no location to lay the turf down this winter.

As a club, SDSC will continue with its pursuit of a permanent location as soon as possible and we will keep you all posted as best we can.

 

For this upcoming season, we are securing numerous school gyms so that everyone who wishes too still has a place to play. We understand that some people will not want to play on gym floors and that numbers will be somewhat lower this season. Price will be adjusted accordingly as well. For the handful of people who have paid so far, refunds will be issued in the next day or so. Please contact us for details if you have any specific questions.
